Viola Wisteria Latimore

Mrs. Viola Latimore of Sparta, GA, transitioned to final rest on Sunday, February 12, 2023.  Open Viewing will be on Friday, February 17, 2023 from 5:30 P.M. - 7:00 P.M. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2023, at 1:30 P.M. St Paul CME Church, Sparta, GA. Interment will follow at St James CME Church Cemetery, Warthen, GA.

Mrs. Viola Latimore was born on June 20, 1952, to the parents of the late Mr. Benjamin Wilson, Sr and the late Mrs. Essie Mae Wilson.  She was preceded in death by her late husband, John Wesley Latimore; 3 sisters, Graphie Reaves, Brenda Jones and Eva Pearl Fleming; 1 brother, Benjamin Wilson, Jr.

She was a member of St James CME Church in Warthen, GA.  She graduated in 1970 from Hancock Central High School.  She was employed at Walmart Supercenter in Eatonton, GA, for 18 years.  Her warm spirit touched the lives of those who knew her, and her memories will be cherished by her devoted children; 2 sons, Bobby Latimore, Sparta, GA, Ronald Latimore (Chanter G.Latimore) Eatonton, GA, 1 daughter, Tara S. Williams (Mike Williams) Hampton, GA, 4 grandchildren, Kierria Collins(kitray Solomon) Taylor Justice, Kyandie Dennis, Jarlissa Latimore; 1 great-grandchild, Kitray Solomon, Jr; 2 stepsons, James Latimore and John Latimore both of Sandersville, GA; 1 sister, Mae Pearl Roach, 1 brother, Bobby Wilson (Gloria Jackson).  She also leaves a host of truly beloved and cherished nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and a community that loved her dearly.
