Sammie Lee Spencer

Mr. Sammie Lee "Skeet" Spencer of Sparta, GA, transitioned to final rest on Tuesday, April 4, 2023.  Public Viewing will be on Friday, April 14, 2023 from 3:00pm - closing, Ingram Brothers Chapel.  Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 15, 2023, 11:00 A.M. St. James CME Church, Warthen, GA.  

Life and Legacy - Sammie Lee Spencer. was born in Sparta, GA on September 10, 1955 to the parentage of Charlie Henry Spencer and Lillie Bell Spencer. He graduated from Hancock Central High School and soon after graduation he began working with Locke Logging Company.

He enjoyed fishing and watching the Atlanta Braves.

He was the ninth child of twelve children in which one brother preceded him in death, Willie Roy Brookins. He leaves to cherish his memories: his daughter, Lakeyshia Jordan of Eatonton, GA; Sisters: Ola Tutt, Macon GA, Bobbie Jean Pinkston, Augusta, GA, Judy Spencer, Lawrenceville, GA, Lean Mae Spencer, Atlanta, GA; Brothers: Jimmy Spencer, Columbus, GA, Freddie Spencer, Colorado Springs, CO, Clifford Spencer, Sparta, GA, Curtis Spencer, Sandersville, GA, Donnie Spencer, Sparta, GA; Three Grandchildren: T’Keyah Jordan, Jamiah Huff and Ma’Liyah Primas; Devoted friends, Rossylan and Dale Brookins. A special friend, Tina Primas Lundy. A host of extended family aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
