Johnny C Jordan, Sr.

Mr. J C  Jordan of Atlanta, GA, transitioned to final rest on Friday, March 31, 2023. Public Viewing will be on Friday, April 7, 2023, from 2:30pm - 4:00pm Ingram Brothers Chapel. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, April 8, 2023, 12 Noon, Second Darien Baptist Church, Sparta, GA. .

Mr. Johnny "J.C." Jordan, Sr,  was born in Sparta, Georgia on May 9, 1945 to the parentage of Robert and Mattie Jordan.  Mr. J.C. was the youngest of seven children in which all preceded him in death- four brothers, Mr. A. J. Jordan, Mr. Lewis Jordan, and Mr. Robert Jordan, Jr.; a half-brother, Columbus Jordan; three sisters, Mrs. Christine Collier (Sport), Mrs. Alfreda Simmons (Marion), Ms. Ella Maw Jordan; and a beautiful sister/sister-in-law, Mrs. Emma R. Jordan.

One of J.C. Jordan's greatest accomplishments was his union of marriage to Mrs. Estella C. Jordan.  They were married for 56 years and to their union six children were born; Baby Jordan preceded him in death; Ms. Veltena Jordan, Mr. Richard Jordan (Mershawn), Mr.  Johnny C. Jordan, Jr. (Takelia W. Jordan), Ms. Belinda Jordan, and  Mr. Anthony Jordan; a step-daughter who preceded him in death, Sandra Cox; thirteen grandchildren, Ms. Venita S. Powell, Ms. Shamica L. Powell (Jordan), Ms. Shameka L. Powell, Mr. Javarius Sawyer, Ms. Karol Sawyer, Mr. Johnathan Jordan, Ms. Beaunna Jordan, Ms,. Kayla Jordan, Ms, Kennedy Jordan, Ms, Shekinah E. Williams, Mr. Jamieson Jordan, Mr. Kenya Tyson, and  Ms. Latreesha Cox;  six great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, brothers an sisters-in-laws who will miss him dearly.
