Mr. Eddie Lee Clark also know as ("Eddie Boy" "Pee-Wee " "Po-Papa" and "Dolemite"), transitioned to final rest on Saturday, March 18, 2023.at Springs Memorial Hospital in Lancaster, SC;  Public Viewing will be on Friday, March 24, 2023 from 3:00pm - Closing.  Funeral Service will be on Saturday, March 25, 2023, New Beulah Baptist Church, 12 noon.  Interment to follow at New Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery.

 Mr. Eddie Lee Clark was born on October 11, 1952, in Sparta, Georgia, to the late Mr. JD Charleston and Mrs. Annie V. Clark. Eddie departed this life on Saturday, March 18, 2023, at Springs Memorial Hospital in South Carolina while surrounded by his loved ones.

He joined New Beulah Baptist Church at an early age and was educated by Sparta High School. Eddie was joined in holy matrimony to his loving wife, Mrs. Vickie Clark, and they had four children. Eddie was a man of many hats. He was employed by Leheigh Steel Plant, where he retired and later worked several other jobs. Eddie loved fishing, planting his garden, singing, dancing, telling jokes, talking smack, and spending time with his family.

Eddie was preceded in death by both parents, Mr. JD Charleston and Mrs. Annie V. Clark; three brothers, JD Charleston, Jr., Carl Charleston, and James Charleston, all of Sparta, GA; and one granddaughter, Keamber Davis of Kershaw, SC.

He leaves to cherish his memories: his loving wife, Vickie Clark of Sparta, GA; one son, Alexander Clark of Kershaw, SC; three daughters, Pamelyn (Freddie) Thomas of Camden, SC, and Kimberly (Horace) Kirkland of Kershaw, SC, Ashley Clark of Sparta, GA; three bonus daughters, Ernestine (Robert) Collins of Kershaw, SC, Juanita (Joel) Kemp of Sparta, GA, and Monique Foster of Lancaster, SC; fifteen siblings, Mary Grant of Atlanta, GA, Geradine Clark of Sparta, GA, Forrest (Diane) Clark of Atlanta, GA, Annie (Tommie) Chapple of Sparta, GA, Ernest Clark of Atlanta, GA, Clifford Clark of Atlanta, GA, Herbert (Shelia) Clark of Sparta, GA, Katie Lou (Luscious) Chapple of Sparta, GA, George (Vivian) Charleston of Sparta, GA, Larry Charleston of Milledgeville, GA, and Abbie Charleston, Robert Mathews, Grady (Pauline) Charleston, Ruth Harris, and Elma Nash, all of Sparta, GA; three aunts, Emma Jordan of Sparta, GA, Annette Miller of Kershaw, SC, and Mable Walker of Milledgeville, GA; thirteen grandchildren, Kevianter Clark, Keasia Hurt, Kerysia Frasier, Jordan Fossett, Taniya Nelson, Genesis Clark, Shaniya Clark, Dequan Kemp, Kimora Kemp, Kemarion Hill, Keavian Hill, Javon Thomas, and MeKei’lah Rembert; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
