Mrs. Annie Lou Kindle of Sparta, GA, transitioned to final rest on Sunday, April 9, 2023.  Public Viewing will be on Friday, April 14, 2023, from 5:00PM - Closing Ingram Brothers Chapel. Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 15, 2023, 1:00PM, St. Galilee Baptist Church, Sparta, GA.  Interment will follow at Hunts Chapel AME Church Cemetery, Sparta, GA.

Life and Legacy of “MRS. ANNIE LOU KINDLE”

Mrs. Annie Lou Kindle was born August 1, 1937 in Hancock County to the parentage of the late Mr. Robert Wynn and Mrs. Mamie Stembridge (David) Jones. She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Mr. Roosevelt Kindle, Sr; one son, Roosevelt Kindle, Jr; two brothers, Thomas Jones and Daniel Jones; and one sister, Irene Howell.

Annie Lou joined New Greensprings A.M.E. Church at an early age where she was a faithful servant as a Missionary, Usher, Stewardess, President of the Senior Choir to name a few until her health failed. She attended L.S. Ingram School in Hancock County. She was employed by Carwood Manufacturing for 20+ years and worked several years with the Hancock County School System as a dedicated and dependable bus driver. Annie Lou loved people with her humorous and witty personality.

On Resurrection Sunday, April 9, 2023, Annie Lou gained her heavenly wings peacefully at home.  She leaves to cherish her memories: her devoted children, Katherine (King) Walls of Sparta, GA; Sandra (Terry) Bryant of Macon, GA; Perry “Leon” (Janice) Kindle of Lakeland, FL; Sharon (Jeffery) Hurt of Covington, GA; and Randolph Turner of Milledgeville, GA; three brothers, Winston “June” Stembridge of Sparta, GA; David (Delice) Jones, and Rev. Steven Jones both of Springfield, OH; four sisters-in-law, Annie (Willie James) Simmons of Rivera Beach, FL, Sarah (Willie) Brown of Sparta, GA, Pamela Jones of Dayton, OH and Miriam Watterson-Jones of Springfield, OH; two brothers-in-law, Robert (Geraldine) Kindle of Conyers, GA and Billy Howell of Springfield, OH; and a host of beautiful and loving grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends
